g++ compiled verison for SGIs?

Hi!
Some time ago, you I was searching for an g++ compiled version of root.
Meanwhile you told me that there will be a verion available once you've
access to an SGI machine with g++ installed and somebody at FERMILAB(?) is
going to try to provide this.

Has something changed since then? 
Is a g++ compiled version available?
