In another header file, I had enumerated types which had no problem being defined. I cannot pinpoint exactly how my problem disappeared, because I was in the middle of versioning the entire distribution when your request to re-type it came in email. But I was cleaning up all the files in general so it is likely that I removed some hidden char that was in the file. It works fine without the enum result_state; // ????????????????? line now. thanks, -- o============o Sending unsolicited commercial e-mail (UCE) to this address Legal Notice is indication of your consent to pay me $120/hour for 1 hour o============o minimum for professional proofreading & technical assessment.
