h2root and real*8

Hi,

I have been trying to convert some hbook CWN ntuples into root files with
h2root.  These ntuples have some real*4 fields and some real*8 fields. I
find that the real*4 fields convert fine but the real*8 fields get
turned into nonsense.

Any suggestions?

I am using a DEC Alpha with root 1.01/06.
