Robert,

  I am unable to anser Robert's question directly, but I created openGL
 DLL on Windows-NT/95 which can be dynamically loaded to CINT and 
 ROOT/CINT. A guy in EDA software company in U.S requested this a 
 few monthes ago. 
  I think we can leverage header file or interface method source code
 for other platforms. It would be nice if we have it for other computers.
 I do not have an access to SGI machine but I will take a look at it
 to find out if I can help you.
