getting started - problem solved

   My colleauge, Thierry Mouthuy has found the solution to my problem
reproduced here below. One has to terminate the printf line in
rootlogon.C and rootlogoff.C by \n, like
{
   printf("Welcome to the ROOT world\n");
}
{
   printf("Hope you have enjoyed ROOT -- See you next time\n");
}


Please modify the examples in the ROOT documentation! Thanks.
