Plain plots?

Hi!
I fully agree. There should be two modes in canvas:
  (A) presentation mode (for colour presentation slides)
  (B) publication mode (for black&white preprints and articles)
with single easy to use global switch from one to another.
We should probably tell Rene more precisely what is specification
for mode (B), for instance if statistics has to go away from the plot etc.
