Fine, but could you, please, check the libc version ? By default RH4.2 
uses libc5.3, but it may well be that you use libc5.4.x ( which is slightly 
incompatible to libc5.3.x - you might ask now ... SLIGHTLY ??? ... :-) )

And that is, on principle, what I intended to do. Keep using RH4.2 until 
the NEXT RH ( 5.1/5.2 ) comes out.
