Hi,
There really seems to be a problem with version 2.00 on Alpha's.
If you just launch demos.C and try to click on one of the buttons, you
have a seg. violation.
I tried this with various window managers, even the local window manager
of an X term. I used the cxx version of ROOT v2.00. Our version of cxx is
v5.5 but I didn't use it.
With the g++ version, as with the cxx, there is always this problem with
fvwm95 (which I recompiled) where some dialogs (open... from a
canvas) appear without any decorations, nor handles.
The version of Unix is v4.0

No problems with other platforms, where I'm very happy.

Cheers

Damir
