Hi Tadeusz, 

   you need to install the latest libXpm.so on your machine.
Get ftp://root.cern.ch/pub/libXpm.so.4.9.gz. unzip and name
is $ROOTSYS/lib/libXpm.so or install it in /usr/X11R6/lib.

The latest release contains already $ROOTSYS/lib/libXpm.so.
