I cannot reproduce this problem on my alpha/unix system.
Could you run the standard make in the $ROOTSYS/test directory
and let me know the result.
>From your output below, I do not understand why make prints the cint
author, etc. The standard rootcint does not print this info.
Please check your makefile.
