Hi Andre, in $ROOTSYS/tutorials/.rootrc you will find a list of all resources supported by all ROOT programs. To change the GUI related fonts change the font size in the lines: # GUI specific settings Gui.NormalFont: -adobe-helvetica-medium-r-*-*-12-*-*-*-*-*-iso8859-1 Gui.BoldFont: -adobe-helvetica-bold-r-*-*-12-*-*-*-*-*-iso8859-1 Gui.SmallFont: -adobe-helvetica-medium-r-*-*-10-*-*-*-*-*-iso8859-1 Gui.ProportionalFont: -adobe-courier-medium-r-*-*-12-*-*-*-*-*-iso8859-1 to your liking (e.g. 12 to 14, 10 to 12). Best is to copy this example .rootrc file to your home directory or working directory. The .rootrc's are processed in the following order: $ROOTSYS/.rootrc, $HOME/.rootrc, ./.rootrc. The last found resource setting is used. Cheers, Fons. Andre Holzner wrote: > > Hello, > > I have been using root (Linux) for a few hours now.
