Hi Rooters,

the recently (29/6) released version 2.00/09 contains for the
first time a set of Makefiles in the source distribution
(ftp://root.cern.ch/root/root_v2.00.source.tar.gz). However, if you
did download the source yesterday then you will not have the Makefiles,
because our source packing script did not yet include Make*. To not
have to download again the complete source tar I've made the Makefiles
available in the file ftp://root.cern.ch/root/root_make.tar.gz.
Unzip and untar this file in your $ROOTSYS/src directory.

On how to use the Makefiles see the 2.00/09 release notes
(http://root.cern.ch/root/html/examples/V2.00.txt.html).

Cheers, Fons.
