Rene and Valery - I've been trying to use memory mapped files on NT (and 95 for that matter) and have had no success. Although there was a mail on this list (16 Jun 98) saying the problem has been fixed, I am unable to make hcons.C read the hsimple.map file produced by hprod.C. the browser can see the file, but the contents are three unnamed histograms which _all_ reference hpx. On Win95, things are worse: hprod.C does not complain, but hcons.C gives me the error: "Error in <TMapfile::TMapFile>: mapped file not in mmalloc format" Will these problems be fixed anytime soon? (BTW, I am using 2.00/09.)
