The Postscript documents:
   Root Overview
   Root Tutorials
   Root classes
still refer to the old version 1.03/07, one year old.
We had problems with the automatic but quite complex tool used
to generate these documents via html/Netscape/Framemaker.

Nenad Buncic, the author of the tool, will again spend some time
with us to adapt the tool to the latest version. I hope that
by middle of October, we will be able to generate again the above
Postscript files.
We do not intend to distribute hardcopies of these files, at least
in the near term future.

For people in remote institutions with slow network connections,
we provide a copy of the full Root html tree. This file
is always uptodate. You can find it at the page
  http://root.cern.ch/root/Availability.html
or click directly on the URL:
 ftp://root.cern.ch/root/RootHtmlDoc.tar.gz
