How to get the banch status?

Hello!

after looking in TTree::SetBranchStatus, I would try to get the
branch status with

   tree->GetBranch("branchname")->TestBit(kDoNotProcess)

But kDoNotProcess is not defined in a header file, 
but in src/TREE_Branch.cxx.

What is the recommended way to check the branch status?
