Dear Rooters, I had download root 2.20 for Linux Redhat5.1, when I use h2root, it give me the following mistake messages: h2root a1.hbk aaa.root RZOPEN. problems determining record length - trying EXCHANGE mode. Converting directory //example *** Break *** segmentation violation Abort (core dumped) I am sure that a1.hbk is in right form, for when I use it at HP-UX 10.20 with root 2.00, it works well. By the way, when I run make in the test dir for this version root, it give me the following mistakes: g++ -shared -g Event.o EventDict.o -o libEvent.so g++ -g MainEvent.o Event.o EventDict.o -L/usr/local/root/lib -lNew -lBase -lCint -lClib -lCont -lFunc -lGraf -lGraf3d -lHist -lHtml -lMatrix -lMeta -lMinuit -lNet -lPostscript -lProof -lTree -lUnix -lZip -lm -ldl -rdynamic -o Event /usr/bin/ld: warning: libstdc++.so.2.8, needed by /usr/local/root/lib/libNew.so, may conflict with libstdc++.so.2.7.2 MainEvent.o: In function `global destructors keyed to main': MainEvent.o(.text+0xa92): undefined reference to `Iostream_init::~Iostream_init(void)' Event.o: In function `global destructors keyed to EventHeader::Dictionary(void)': Event.o(.text+0xe92): undefined reference to `Iostream_init::~Iostream_init(void)' EventDict.o: In function `_GLOBAL_.D.G__set_cpp_environmentEventDict': EventDict.o(.text+0x5ea5): undefined reference to `Iostream_init::~Iostream_init(void)' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make: *** [Event] Error 1 What's the matter, esp. for h2root ?
