------- Forwarded Message Follows ------- Date: Fri, 11 Dec 1998 11:57:38 -0500 (EST) From: Randall Wells <rcwells@pacific.mps.ohio-state.edu> I have begun going through a ROOT tutorial and to execute my "programs" for ROOT I have been making small programs like: int main() { ... INSERT TUTORIAL PROGRAM ... } When I went into "root4star" to execute the program, I loaded it into root using ".L program.c" and then typed "main()" to execute it. I noticed that I could change the program and re-execute it without reloading it and when I tried to unload the program with ".U program.c", the reply I got was that the program wasn't loaded. I guess my questions are what is this ".L" command doing? Is there anything wrong with this? Thanks.
