Hello, I found a feature in the canvas/pads class. I creted a canvas in a macro called c1. I divided it into 6 in my macro and filled the pads. I then decided to look at another variable and used the New Canvas option on the File menu of the original canvas to create a place to put the plot. The new canvas was called c1_2 by root. This caused the second pad on canvas c1 to disappear. Perhaps the naming scheme for canvasses popped up with the New Canvas option should be different than the name given to pads formed from TCanvas::Divide().
