Hi Maarten,
You generate a Postscript file by selecting SaveAs canvas.ps
from the canvas "File" menu.
You can also do
  c1->Print("c1.ps")
if c1 is a pointer to your canvas.
If you still have problems with this procedure, contact me
directly. In this case, send me the Root file saved from
your canvas using "SaveAs canvas.root". If your canvas is named "c1",
this will produce a Root file c1.root. Send me this file
as a mail attachment.
Do not forget to mention the Root version tag and the machine type.
