Jacek, ROOT calls automatically TStyle::SetScreenFactor to get the same aspect ratio independently of the screen resolution. However, I adapted and tested this algorithm only on 1280x1024 and 1024x800 devices. The aspect ratio affects the Postscript output unless you run in batch mode. I do not understand, however, why you get a different behaviour when running with the interpreter or the compiler. Rene Brun
