Thank you very much for your reply. In fact I did mean ROOT GUI... However, your reply got me to download your CINT package separately (independent of root) and discovered besides WildC++ a gread deal of useful packages (Win32API, sockets etc etc) which all are *NOT* included in the root distribution. I'll look into the WildC++ option since the WinNT ROOT based GUI seems to take some more time to come alive..... I'd also suggest to annouce/advertise these *NONROOT* enhancements of CINT on the ROOT-CINT webpage. Without your reply I would have never found the additional packages (you don't download the standalone CINT package once you got it within the root package....). Thanks again Cheers Peter ----- Original Message ----- From: Masaharu Goto <MXJ02154@nifty.ne.jp> To: <INQ00101@nifty.ne.jp> Cc: <roottalk@hpsalo.cern.ch> Sent: Thursday, May 20, 1999 5:32 AM Subject: RE:How to GUI with CINT on WinNT??? > Dear Peter Lipa, > > >Hi Rooters, > >I couldn't figure out how to get started with an interpreted GUI on WinNT. > > >From the e-mail title, I wasn't sure if using ROOT is an essential part of > your question. > > If so, Fons Rademakers can answer your question. > > If not, that means you are only interested in CINT to drive some GUI lib, > you can use WildC++ which is a combination of Tcl/Tk and CINT.
