Dear Dr. Langston,
As I've said, the Autoconfed version of ROOT worked very well when
installed in Mandrake Linux 5.3 (most probably also on Red Hat Linux 5.2).
So I also tried installing ROOT in Red Hat Linux 6.0. When I do "make"
this message comes out:
