Hi,
from the amount of mails on this list, I guess the ROOT team spends a
significant amount of
time answering questions. A huge percentage of this answers consists of
refernces to either
the mailing list itself or other resources on the root homepage like the
tutorials, HowTos and so on.
Creating a master Index which directs people directly to all places
where a specific topic
is referenced would be nice.
If I have a problem with a TGraph for example I could look in the
masterindex and find
somthing like the following link collection.
TGraph
+-------- Class and Member Refernce Guide
+-------- HowTO
+------- Ref1
+------- Ref2
+-------- Tutorial
+------- Ref1
+------- Ref2
+-------- Roottalk Digest
+------- Ref1
+------- Ref2
+-------- External Resources
+------- Ref1
+------- Ref2
In most cases the information is somwhere, but obviously not everybody
finds it immedatly.
No summer (or winter) student at CERN to do this ?
