AIX: Problems with lib

Hallihallo!

I am fairly new in root, but nevertheless try to set up some small
things on a motorola cpu with IBM AIX  system.

I got some hope, when i found out that aix seems to be fairly good
supported. unfortunately, after setting all pathes and variables I
have a strange problem.

I can compile and link my program w/o problems, but during execution
it doesn't find a shared lib:

exec(): 0509-036 Cannot load program adc because of the following errors:
        0509-027 Member shr2.o is not found or file is not an archive.
        0509-027 Member shr2.o is not found or file is not an archive.
        0509-022 Cannot load library libC.a[shr2.o].
        0509-026 System error: A file or directory in the path name does not exist.

but the linker looks fine:
(..)
(ld): lib /usr/lpp/xlC/lib/libC.a
(..)
LIBRARY: Shared object libC.a[shr.o]: 391 symbols imported.


Probably I forgot something obviously. Can somebody give me a hint?
