Dear All, since this morning 18/10/99 the ROOT web, mail and ftp servers have been united on a single Linux box. The new machine is as usually available as root.cern.ch which is an alias for pcroot.cern.ch. Before the alias pointed to hpsalo.cern.ch. So if anybody uses the old name hpsalo.cern.ch directly, please change it to root.cern.ch (like in the roottalk mail address). If you notice anything that does not work as expected let me know.
