Problems compiling root on AIX_4.3

Hi,

I can't compile the newest root version on AIX_4.3. I downloaded the
binary version which is (I guess) compiled with xlC and then the source
code which is configured for egcs but it didn't compile:
this is aix

Of course ../lib/libCint.so does not exist, because there are only .a
libraries in the binary distribution.
I need to recompile root because I need a version that is working with
egcs1.1.2, so does someone know how to compile it with egcs?
On the other hand it would be great to have a precompiled version for AIX
using the egcs compiler as all the other operationg systems have. Could
this be provided?
