Hi all,

I'm a new root adept (< 1week). Everything worked fine till i try to use
TMinuit to fit in a subrange of a 2d histogram. So I just copied and
modified the tutorial
http://root.cern.ch/root/html/examples/Ifit.C.html.

When I use my macro, or the tutorial macro as it is given, I get this
message :

 FCN=0 FROM MIGRAD    STATUS=INITIATE      149 CALLS         150 TOTAL
                     EDM= unknown      STRATEGY= 1      NO ERROR MATRIX
  EXT PARAMETER CURRENT GUESS STEP FIRST
  NO. NAME VALUE ERROR SIZE DERIVATIVE
....
 MIGRAD MINIMIZATION HAS CONVERGED.
 MIGRAD WILL VERIFY CONVERGENCE AND ERROR MATRIX.

then :

 MINUIT WARNING IN HESSE
 ==============
  MNHESS FAILS AND WILL RETURN DIAGONAL MATRIX.
...

If you look at the current parameters using mnpout, you see that they
are equal to their starting values, and that errors are set to 1.41421.

    Thanks a lot if you can help me !

            Colin
