Hi,

  see the example in $ROOTSYS/test/tcollex.cxx (check methods Compare() and
IsSortable() in TObjNum. Also have a look at TObjString::Compare() and
TNamed::Compare(). To sort a TList you can either use a TSortedList (always
sorted at insertion) or TList::Sort() to a-posteriory sort a list.
