of VMC in the last release of root (3.05/06)
and the geant3+_vmc and geant4_vmc modules.

VMC
- new abstract class TVirtualMCGeometry
- defines only VMC functions for building/accesing geometry
- new class TGeoMCGeometry - implementation of VMC functions for
building/accesing geometry for TGeo
- renaming of functions in TVirtualMCStack
(backward incompatible)
Examples
- stack classes updated for changes of TVirtualMCStack (update to
root 3.05/06)
- E01 example - added functions for building geometry via TGeo
Geant3
- pro version (0.3) - update to root 3.05/06
- development version (0.4) of geant3 with TGeo geometry - provided
in tar file
Geant4 VMC
- version 1.0
- update to root 3.05/06, geant4 5.2
- included roottog4 convertor - enables to define G4 geometry via TGeo
- g4toxml convertor classes in separated library
Status of root->g4 geometry convertor:
The first released version of convertor has the following
limitations:
- divided volumes are converted via simple G4PVPlacements
- can be memory consuming in case of huge use of divisions
- Boolean volumes are not yet supported
- MANY positions of volumes are not supported
The divisions will be improved with G4 6.0 release (in december),
when divisions should be directly supported by G4;
the support for Boolean volumes is just a question of priorities
and MANY positions are not going to be supported (as G4 itself
does not support this option).
