Dear all,
With the last update of Geant4 VMC in CVS,
there is added the possibility to use the VGM for geometry conversion
and export to XML as an alternative to geant4_vmc/convertors.
Use of VGM is optional, handled by the environment variable USE_VGM.
If USE_VGM is set, the VGM is used for all geometry conversions
by default, old roottog4 convertor can be selected via command:
/mcDet/useVGM false
old g4toxml convertor is disabled.
As the old convertors are planned to be removed from Geant4 VMC in near future, please, check this new option and let me know in case of any problems.
