VMC Fluka version 0.4

Dear all,
I am trying to use the last fluka VMC tarball ( version 0.4 ) together with Fluka version 2008.3
First i encounter a problem that some symbol s_rnge is undefined. it comes from the "libg2c.so" that i add in the loading basiclibs.C macro. Secondly it crashes in all examples at the same place in Fluka itself:

Subscript out of range on file line 161, procedure setitb.f/setitb. Attempt to access the 0-th element of variable icomp.

What am i doing wrong here ?
