ROOT geometry in Fluka

Dear all,
since VMC support for Fluka is _sadly_ not anymore available, we are looking for an alternative way to have at least a one-way conversion of root geometry/materials to Fluka. What would be the best approach? Some solution including Flugg came into my attention but seems complicated on first glance. Does maybe Flair support gdml geometry import? I am asking here before going to Fluka forum in case some VMC user has some useful experience on this. Thanks,
