Hi Fons, 

Actually I was told that there is a X11 function 
XOpenDisplay(char* display_name)

>From what I see typing 'man XOpenDisplay' it should 
do exactly what I want. 

I don't see how I can access this function from ROOT
now. 

Am I right that if I could have called this function 
from the root prompt (using gVirtualX) and then started
the window it would go to the specified display. Having 
redefined it again next window opened would go to 
other display.

I'd appreciate your comments on it.
