Anton, Yes if you use the standard binary distributions. If you have installed Root from source yourself, you must make sure that to have the library libttf.so (see AA_INSTALL). On NT, true type fonts are always there. You can activate/deactivate the ttf by setting the flag true/false in your .rootrc file. I hope that .rootrc is self documenting.
