Hi Georges, There was a similar question about the Lithium symbol a few weeks ago. This was not possible with the TLatex class in Root version 2.23/12 Our development version 2.24 has an upgraded TLatex supporting chemical symbols. For example the latex string {}_{3}^{7}Li will draw the Lithium symbol in the conventional chemical notation. This version has also a better alignment for the Greek characters. We are currently rather busy with seminars, talks, reviews, workshops and Mock Data Challenges. We hope to return to a more stable situation around April 15, when we expect to put the first prerelease of 2.24.
