[ROOT] Problems running ROOT on OSF1

Hello rooters,

I tried to run under ROOT version 2.25/01 under OSF1.
I compiled the root sources with cxx Version 6.1.
All went fine except some warnings in relation to unreachable code
or meaningless type casts (some "const" specifiers).

When I start the root binary I get the following message:

Fatal in <operator delete>: storage area overwritten

I removed my .rootrc file to ensure that nothing of my user
dependent intialisation causes this problem, but the error message
is the same.

I used version 2.23/12 with success.

Some system information:
"uname -a"
OSF1 ac3ws1 V4.0 878 alpha

"cxx -V"
DIGITAL C++ V6.1-029 on DIGITAL UNIX V4.0 (Rev. 878)

Any ideas ?

Thanks, Tim
