Hi Thomas,
I am afraid that I need more info to solve your problem.
Could you send me the output of tree.Print() just before closing
the file when you write it and the same output when you connect the file
and import the tree header in memory.
Could you send a brief example of an interactive session that works ?
Could you send a short version  of the compiled version ?
