I am trying to build a standalone application using threads under Linux and can't get anything to work. I went back to the basics and have CalcPiThread running under root, but can't get it to run in a standalone mode. I added RunPi() to CalcPiThread.so and created a main program that invoked RunPi and linked it with CalcPiThread.so. I get a segmentation violation in AddTimer() (which is a different place that where my other program blows up, but a similar problem). Can anyone help me get a standalone version of CalcPiThread running and I can then apply that to my application. Thanks Peter
