	HI ROOTers,

we currently run root 3.01 on Linux and Solaris. We use it as
the base for the analysis software of our experiment. But several
users access to the software remotely from X-terminals and they encounter
display problems, ranging from a blank TBrowser to general blocking of
all windows and the mouse and shutdown of the x-session.
This happens when they try to plot something. It seems to be
correlated with the size of the root files loaded and a lack of memory.
So is there a means to have root and/or the x-terminal environment
software use less memory ?
