Sorry in advance if this has already been reported, but I don't monitor the roottalk list. I did look through the online digests and saw mention of some printing problems in the digest but no real details/solutions, so I'll add my experience. I am running RedHat 7.1 on x86 hardware. I downloaded the root_v3.01.06.Linux.2.4.4-rh7.1.tar.gz binary file. I installed it fine, and started it fine. Following the Users Guide, I did TF1 f1("func1", "sin(x)/x", 0, 10) f1.Draw() Ok, so far. I tried to print this canvas out by selecting Print from the canvas menu, but get a segmentation violation or something along those lines, on the terminal window. In the terminal window, I type c1.Print("c1.ps") and get the same result. Trying to either print or create a postscript file does not work. So I downloaded the source and compiled it myself. Postscript creation and printing now works just fine. -- Chris Stevens
