[ROOT] problem with signals in compiled guis

Hi,

I cannot get the signal/slot mechanism to work at all in compiled
code. For example, if I compile guitest.C, none of the menu items or
buttons work. When I run it in interpreted mode it behaves as
expected. Can anyone confirm this?

I see this effect on both Solaris 8/Workshop 6.0 and
RedHat 6.2/g++ 2.95.2, using root 3.00.06 in both cases.
