[ROOT] compiling CINT C code with C++ compiler?

Hi,
just a quick question -- We are having some trouble on the HP platform, and I
was wondering if it would be possible to use aCC to compile the cint C source
files, just so that everything is compiled with the same compiler

The cint platform files define that C code is compiled with cc. on our HP we
have two different cc compilers, and I don't know which one I should use
(/opt/softbench/bin/cc or /usr/ccs/bin/cc) Has anyone tried to compile with
aCC? (I tried, and got errors about old-style function prototypes, maybe
there is a compiler flag to accept that?)

(For the record, the trouble is not with cint itself, but we have some
problems integrating it into our C++ code)

regards
Christoph
