 If ROOT behave like PAW on that point (which I think it does), the answer
would be no. The exponential notation is chosen automatically by the
axis drawing procedure. In the PAW case that would require new
developments in the IGAXIS routine. I guess it is the same for ROOT in
equivalent routine.
