Hi Sven, I already implemented this functionality last month in version 3.02. In the release notes, you can read: 2001-09-20 15:24 brun * graf/: inc/TGaxis.h, src/TGaxis.cxx: Add a static member fgMaxDigits with the corresponding getter and setter. fgMaxDigits is the maximum number of digits permitted for the axis labels above which the notation with 10^N is used. For example, to accept 6 digits number like 900000 on an axis call TGaxis::SetMaxDigits(6). The default value is 5. Note that TGaxis::SetMaxDigits is a static function Rene Brun Sven A.
