Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, I have downloaded the NT version of your ROOT-software to test if it can be of use for some planned developement work in the area of nuclear fusion. I have noticed that none of the figures displayed in so-called CANVAS can be saved in a "gif" format as claimed in the manual. This is a serious drawback, bacause I can not import and view the resulting graphs in WORD. Is this correct or am I doing something wrong. I have a proposal for future developement: I is often usefull to plot many histograms on top of each other with all histograms having the same x-axis (typical the time) but different quantities for the y-axis (e.g one temperature, the other pressure, a third flow rates, a forth hydrogen generation from chemcial reaction). Then it would be nice to have an option that I can put those graphs on top of each other, each in a seperate box, with the lower line always the identical x-axis. In this mode there would be only one x-axis laber for all boxes containing one or more lines.
