Hello John,

if you are working with Linux, you can try the Qt-ROOT interface
(http://www-linux.gsi.de/~go4/qtroot/html/qtroot.html). A complete
description of how to use the Qt GUI Designer to make your ROOT application
is also available on (http://www-linux.gsi.de/~turany/using_the_qt3.htm).
hope this will make it less painful for you!

cheers,

Mohammad

Subject: [ROOT] Creating GUI with ROOT classes

Hello ROOTers
I'm trying to write a graphical interface using the TGFrame etc. classes,
with as my only guide the guitest.cxx example in $ROOTSYS/test, and the
source files in $ROOTSYS/gui.
Is there still absolutely no documentation for this stuff ? There aren't
even
many comments in the source files, at least not ones I can understand... ;-)
Thanks if anyone can make this less painful
John.
