[ROOT] I can't use TCanvas::SaveAS class

I want to make a gif file with my graph, and I found out this info,

But, I gained this error, 

root [0] .x hsimple.C 
Error: non class,struct,union object $c1 used with . or -> FILE:hsimple.C LINE:59

Line 59 is, 

c1->SaveAs(gif);



How can I get a gif file?
