Dear ROOT developers,
I wrote a class that reads and modifies windows style like init files. I
found it a hany tool for analysis programs. It reads, generates ascii
files in the format
[section]
variable=value
value can be various datatypes e.g.:
[TTrack]
BField=10 (int)
[TTracker]
SDPhiLimit=0.05 (float)
SDEtaLimit=0.05 (float)
[result]
File=auau_phys_off.dat (string)
You can find it together with a small ./test example (current root, Linux) at:
http://www.star.bnl.gov/~jberger/tmp/TInitFile/
Let me know if you consider this, or something like this to be implemented
in ROOT...
Thanks, Jens
