[ROOT] TCollections' garbage collection

Hi,

when calling e.g. TMap::DeleteAll(), all keys and values are added to
fgGarbageCollection but not deleted. It seems to me that the entries in
fgGarbageCollection are _never_ deleted (well, only when the process
exists). Does one have to call TCollection::EmptyGarbageCollection() by
hand from time to time? What was the idea behind this GarbageCollector?

PS: I believe I never read anything about the garbage collector in the
user guide; I hope I didn't overlook it. If I did, a simple "See user
guide" is sufficient.
