Hi, ROOTers!

I'm wondering if somebody made a review of world usage of ROOT
(spatial and time statistics, structure of tasks, relative usage of
ROOT modules, applications beyond physics, etc...). I'll be very
grateful for any references of this kind.

Moreover, it would be useful to create separate section at ROOT site
(something like "ROOT in the world") specially devoted to accumulate
such kind of information and links.

http://root.cern.ch/root/ExApplications.html

looks like the best embryo to grow this new section.

What is the reason to do it? I think that I'm not a single, who write
grants asking money to develop ROOT-based applications for projects
:).

Best wishes,
Yuriy.
